Bringing a diverse community together…
Kole Intellectual Forum in an attempt to improve the standard of its society; the team of Home Economics have started to move out to the community and move on to discuss matters that partake their community; hence, move on and on to “Bring a diverse community together”.
Principally, the attempt has started to take root on Saturday of 22/04/203 that collection of diverse group of people at Apach parish, Aboke Sub-County, Kole District, Northern Uganda, were invited from traditional leaders, neighbours to Religious;a lot were discuss; however, it were guided by the basis designed on the following facts that:
1. How can we make our residents feel safer
2. Put residents needs and hope for the future in front of the town planners
3. Unite people with similar interests
4. Enable local council to create plans base of the community desires
5. Save local places and wildlife that we care about
6. Bring light to issues that are close to our hearts
7. Demand changes that are needed for residents but aren’t consider important by those authority to make changes
8. Engage other community members
9. Highlight different community opinions
10. Bring people together to make changes for the greater good of the community
11. Embrace cultural differences
12. Make people enthusiastic about community plans and events
13. Address important issues
The diverse communities were very grateful with initiative of Kole Intellectual Forum; and, they agreed to be meeting to discuss their communities' affairs twice every year.
