Institute of Home Economics hope success
In relationship to the scope of topic in the areas ofHome Economics that includes: globalization, food security, local food systems, sustainability, technology, ethical consumption, quality of life, food and nutrition, textiles and clothing, shelter, health and wellbeing for individuals, families and within communities; embracing the idea above all, Lillian, not her own name, she tells a story of her assumed success a student of Kole Intellectual Forum – Institute of Home of Economics.
She narrated her story of success that made her to be admitted as a student at the Institute of Home of Economics at Kole Intellectual Forum – Institute of Home of Economics. She began by saying that: she felt in love with organization when the team of organization was conducting an action in their primary school: Angic Public Primary School in Bala Sub-County, Kole District, Northern Uganda; and because of their intervention that to that school in the year 2017; all the candidate pupils in primary seven class successfully passed in second grade of which Lillian happened to be one of them. Unfortunately, due to an avoided circumstances, link to her background she was unable to go for further studies. The parents could not meet the cost of training her above that level.
However, on learning in 2019 that: this particular organization has developed a new and interesting course of Home Economics; She had to look for the admission in 2020, unfortunately she could not go through by that time; when told to wait and join the following year, according to her (Lilian) she had to wait for that time since she was interested for the program; hoping that if she can go through the training she will be equipped with the knowledge of: globalization, food security, local food systems, sustainability, technology, ethical consumption, quality of life, food and nutrition, textiles and clothing, shelter, health and wellbeing for individuals, families and within communities
