Empowerment of Girls are yielding fruits at Kole Intellectual Forum - a sense of Empowering a Girl child for self-reliance in Uganda.
We can always talk about empowerment of youth - girls or boys - while failing to measure the extent or the route the empowerment is taking. Given that: many scholars define empowerment differently, others call it that: an empowerment is making someone to have the power and control over his or her own life; while other faction of the scholars believe that, an empowerment is making the people to get the support they need that is right for them; or in other words, they claim it is about making them to feel they are equal to the other citizens within their country that can make to generate a feeling of respect and confident within their communities.
All these would be silent and difficult to measure if one does not use a proper yardstick. However, these can be determined if empowerment is taking route on the basis of two levels; that is, 1. On the basis of psychological/individual; and 2, On the basis of the community/collective feelings; on the individual level refers to the greater ability of individuals to feel strong to make choices in their lives and on the basis of the community it can be in terms of development, growth, financial, political and many more.
Collectively and individually, Kole Intellectual Forum is tirelessly engaging its students to see that, within the specific time of their training; they should endeavors persure all that it takes to have been empowered in the name of: Empower a Girl: For Self-Reliance in Uganda.
Sincerely, all these have been successful since 2018 because of the support Kole Intellectual Forum is getting from the platform of GlobalGiving link on the project page at: https://goto.gg/31562
