Building self confidence to themselves before others have confidence on themselves.
A part from empowering them: they (the students) are being encouraged by the Institute of Home Economics to empower themselves; before they can think of empowering others, their communities and their societies.
In the core training of Home Economics that calls in for Clothing and textiles among other subjects like, food and nutrition, child development, hygiene and sanitation, and budgeting; the Institute of Home Economics through the continuous monthly support from the donors on the platform of GlobalGiving; its management has been able to provide the learners with the basic and more useful equipments necessary for training; and the ideas of empowerment have been truly tested from the learners themselves.
A case in place is that: the clothes the two students are putting on, are being procured by the management of the Institute; support their Instructor to empower them through skilling; and ask them to produce quality clothes for themselves as you can see from the picture. The students who are standing around them with pieces of clothes are waiting for their turn to make theirs and the cycle of empowerment is as good as it has started to take up the shape.
