Giving proof KIFA activities to District Authorities
Given that, Kole District is that authority that has been mandating Kole Intellectual Forum to operate within its area of jurisdiction; according to Uganda’s Non Governmental Organizations’ Act of 2006 - that act calls for everyone who intends to operation any sort of nonprofit organization to first seek for authority from the relevant Government officials. This is exactly what Kole Intellectual Forum did by writing its constitution telling the authority of Kole District what they would be doing and the organization was permitted to operate in Kole District since 2016; although, for the purposes of check and balances the nonprofit organizations under that same act are again to renew their licenses every year; a task that Kole Intellectual Forum is daring to closely.
Giving an authority is one thing, but implementing what you are being told to do is another story. In order to combine the two; Kole Intellectual Forum is to its commitment to see that their members show to the authority (Governmental what they had been granted the permission to do. On Monday 10 July 2023, the team of Kole Intellectual Forum too their students to the officials of Kole District for them to witness what the organization is doing.
