Engaging the roots - the parents of the students of the Institute of Home Economics of Kole Intellectual Forum to make them to the source of sustainability for patriotism - today and for evermore.
“They might look strong, separate and independent, but they are totally reliant on one another and on a common, if hidden, survival system” Mark Nepo.
“Like trees in a forest, humans also share a root system” A quote that we cannot deny the fact about it.
For that very particular reasoning, the team of Kole Intellectual Forum endures to bring similarities about what they are doing in order to influence the mindsets of the students in the relationship of building up the principles of patriotism to them. When their parents were called for, to criticize the course unit they have developed for the implementation of Home Economics; the found it out that: there is root to look at the roots of these student so that they can be able to connect the program (patriotism) to their parents.
The first remarks put forward by the project leader of Kole Intellectual Forum was that: if you’re worried about the future or how to develop any new thing that can influence the mindsets of humanity: then you need to take a heart from Mark Nepo’s reflections on how an aspen tree grove. According to him, aspen trees are lanky, and their bark stretches like ribbons into the sky. In the same way, as we wander like the tree grove; in reference to human beings, he noted that: human also as individuals compare to tree grove , they separate lfrom each other. But what they won’t know is that, as look at themselves from below the ground, they tend to forget their connections, that: they are also linked to their roots in the same way like the trees through extensive and interdependent root system are - in human is from the parents and the grand-grandparents.
Meaning that: by engaging the parents/guardians in modification of the Institute program is as promising as promoting patriotism to the highest level for sustainability; this is because, we the students when they leave the Institute, they will gain support from their roots at home through their parents and they continue to practice it at home - a plan for the roots for sustainability.
