Prolonging the past experiences: New generations
Prolonging the past experiences to the new generations
Much as our core principle as Kole Intellectual Institute of Home Economics is to Empower a Girl: For Self-Reliance; we found it that, we could not do it in the absent of music dance and drama whose benefits are to encourage our students to explore their emotions, expand their imagination and to help them develop their own, unique voice. Each one of these discipline according to our observation is meant engage a child's brain, body and emotions in different ways to encourage their confidence and find joy in self-expression; leading them to we can see in our set goal of empowerment.
By the words of our fore fathers in Africa, they believe that: music and dancing is an integral part of many traditional African societies. Whereas songs and dances facilitate teaching and promoting social values, celebrating special events and major life milestones, performing oral history and other recitations, and also prolonging the past experiences to the new generations.
In this report: We, at Kole Intellectual Forum are very grateful to our benefectors to hellp us prolong our past experiences or traditions to the new generations threough music, dance and drama.
