Long ago, in Africa and elsewhere in the world; people of the community used to live a communal life; where they used to share a lot of things in common; and there were also similarities in their ways of life styles; however, with growth in technology, modernization, education; in general, the general development; ways of lives of different people living in the same community change drastically.
Particularly in education where Kole Intellectual Forum has interest in; the research reveals that: there is a big gap between the rich and the poor and the opinion leaders. In public schools with privatization of the other hand, public schools in Uganda according to the research indicated that they are entirely for the children of the ordinary people; and the rich and the opinion leaders take their children to the private schools.
To rebuild the past glory, Kole Intellectual Forum is doing all that it takes ensuring that: within its community a sense of togetherness that used to be, is rebuilt; beginning gathering the community together to the relevant education functions and events.
