Building Partnership: Better Interventions
The identified problem by Kole Intellectual Forum in 2016 in Kole District Northern Uganda was poor performance in public primary schools through research; unfortunately, with inadequate resources in the hands of the said organization (Kole Intellectual Forum), the organization could do much in terms of intervention. It was not until 2018 that the organization applied with GlobalGiving and went through its accelerator; that was when the organization started its intervention directly to these schools.
The fortunate part of it all was that: GobalGiving gave the organization a permanent partnership with them on the onlinefundraising partnership. This achievement supported the intervention and there was a great improvement in these schools; but after reading the learn Library of GlobalGiving: the team of the organization had to seek for partnership to help them co-fund the projects before them.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
