A story of building up a momentum for social change
We need to enact the change, positively and now! Kole Intellectual Forum appeals to its partners!
A number of questions have be raised as to how we can build a momentum of the organization to effect positive social change now from our community by our community - led organization, Kole Intellectual Forum.
Kole Intellectual Forum had been wondering how to identify their stakeholders; communicate their vision; build their relationships and trust; mobilize and empower their stakeholders; leverage their stakeholders' influence and power; evaluate and adapt their strategies; and, amongst others, is to what else to consider appropriate.…?
From the beginning, it was not a very easy task; we had to start it at all costs; to let the ball start rolling, and remained consistent in our action in that: every single day, action taken even if it was at its any smallest possible way. A story that dated far back in 2016. we considered that, we didn’t want to make huge moves for any reason, but to keep on moving…
The main things we did to deal with the momentum building was to: create a reliable network; set clear goals, and work towards them; be fearless, take risks; manage our time; manage our finances wisely; work on our focus; write down everything; and finally read a lot of books.
To date our organization is moving at the same pace to move from grassroots with expectations to the highest in any form - momentum building
