Understanding Market Orientation and How It Works
Market orientation according to the study conducted by Kole Intellectual Forum in various market places within its area of operations in Kole District, Uganda; more studies are still ongoing and others are set to be done in future; with the intentions to strategically focus on identifying consumer needs and desires in order to define new products to be developed as per those demands; particularly to advance the students of the products that would be selling if they would make meaning of their course in Home Economics. In it, the team of Kole Intellectual Forum have learned that, to establish available business, one has to do a lot of an intensive research through market orientation.
Whereby, market orientation is understood as an approach to business that usually prioritizes identifying the needs and desires of consumers and creating products and services that satisfy them. Although, Kole Intellectual Forum is a nonprofit organization: the organization has a program that intends to improve the lives of their beneficiaries; that is, empowering a girl child for self-reliance; hence, the market orientation research is being done to empower the girls with what type of products or services they can produce to meet the demands of the customers.
