The study conducted by Kole Intellectual Forum in Kole District to examine the impact of the school feeding programme on access to basic education; presented to the parents of one of the schools within the district was considered viable by they the parents.
For many times, they accepted that: before liberal economy was introduced to schools in Uganda; all the children of different background were going to any school without any segregation, things were normal and parents used to support almost all the school programs; however, when time went on; with the introduction of liberal economy, things started to be difficult in public schools; given that, most of the children that are now filing the public schools are from the ordinary citizens; the well of to do families have moved their children to private schools; yet, they had been opinion leaders,decision makers and those who could influence the mindsets of others.
Looking into all these, Kole Intellectual Forum together with their senior staff are trying their best to bring back the lost glory of public schools within its areas of operation through their very intensive advocacy
