Equipping boys from Girls’ empowerment fund
Although the project Kole Intellectual Forum is implementing a project that is meant to empower girls out of school in Kole District for self-reliance; on the other hand, the decision makers of the organization in the capacity to decide on how the fund meant for a program should be used; in that capacity,they looked at other angle on how the fund can be used for the purpose, but also benefiting another sex outside the girls, those are the boys. It was through this wise decision, that members of Board followed up an appeal on the platform of GlobalGiving through a Big Plan to construct an Institute, 2022, $100,000
Instead of hiring experts to build the Institute, the members of Board recommended the training of the boys in welding Fabrication and Block laying and concrete practice; purposely, to help them build the Institute at a course. This recommendation was implemented with two experts and the boys built the Institute to where it is at the moment. Hence, equipping boys from Girls’ empowerment fund. As you can see above and below, the fund that had been worked for, for the construction, is what the organization used for procuring them welding machine and also give them start-up capital.
