To improve on performance: classroom factors discoveed inside classroom
Time and again, many researchers have investigated deeply into the reasons to find out what could have been the problems those are causing poor performance in public primary schools in Africa; others linked it to the inadequate teachers houses; while some associated the problem to low teachers’ ratio to the pupils; yet other groups called it, it is a matter of lack of commitment of parents or the pupils; some are concern school factors and home factors; and these, according to Kole Intellectual Forum, is still not a solution to this problem.
To go deeper than ever before, a concept that Kole Intellectual Forum is exploring into above all those mentioned above is to enter the classroom to see what is involved in the classroom; basically, to understand the classroom factors; and because of that, together with classroom stakeholders, the facts were discovered. Teachers and pupils were motivated inside the classroom, lazy pupils and teachers were identified inside the classroom; uncommitted parents to their children and teachers that are also uncommitted were identified inside the classroom; and also solution to the classroom were found in the classroom; hence, to improve on the performance of children at the public primary schools is that, we need to address the classroom factors if we are to excel
