Making mixed modernization possible at a Local Context
Modernization in the context of local development according to Kole Intellectual Forum that borrowed the ideal understanding of …. being implemented at the project as part of the mixed modernization has this to say, that: modernization in its own theory seems to be unmindful of the fact that much of the knowledge and technology critical for national development and national competitiveness are within the domain of proprietary knowledge of production; but rather implies a monolithic, one-way, and top-down development scheme that holds true picture of all identities, for all the time, in all the places, and at all contexts. The same implies passing out knowledge to generation, production, dissemination, and representation.
Notably, in the context of top-down development model, the sources of knowledge are foreign to the places and identities to which knowledge is applied or exported like it has been applied in the case of Kole Intellectual Forum. In an attempt to use the two models of modernization; Kole Intellectual is trying to realize a positive change and development in the actual lives of their beneficiaries within the society.
