Practice is a key part of developing skills, that Kole Intellectual Forum is promoting at its Institute of Home Economics and they are promoting several ways of practice as numerated below:
This is a more effective way to develop skills than any other type of practice. Before, during, and after practice, one has to ask him/herself questions to help him/her improve. For example, s/he can ask him/herself what went well and what could be improved for next time.
Initiate conversations to gain confidence and develop better speaking skills. One can practice active listening skills or using vocabulary words.
Listen to a variety of sources, such as podcasts, audiobooks, speeches, documentaries, or interviews. Be prepared to hear first, then formulate a response.
Follow industry leaders on social media to learn from their insights and practical advice.
Training courses that can help their students can gain practical experience and master skills.
Asking important questions than can help one challenge assumptions, solve problems, innovate, and empathize.
Practice working together in a group or with a partner to resolve conflict and compromise.
