Poultry Unit: A demonstration Center
Kole Intellectual Forum who has the hope to raise the standard of their community; they have set up a poultry demonstration center with the hope of benefitting its community by empowering them, particularly women and youth, with valuable skills and knowledge for income generation and improved nutrition. The unit is providing with practical training, access to resources, and fosters a sense of community around sustainable poultry farming practices.
At the moment, the center serves as a hub for learning about various aspects of poultry farming, including breeding, feeding, disease prevention, and management; it is also empowering community members, especially women and youth, with the skills to start their own poultry farms or improve existing ones, based on the assumption that, it will lead to an increase into their income and economic independence.
