Operating: Ugandan framework of NGOs’ Act 2026
The Uganda Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) Act 2016 that sets the framework for the operation of NGOs in Uganda; and establishes a regulatory framework, that promotes high standards of governance, and fosters cooperation between NGOs and the government; is a tool that Kole Intellectual Forum, a local Community Based Organization that operates within the Local Government of Kole District, is taking full authority of; and their act, under this law is being controlled by this very Government of Kole District that serves to ensure the organization is acting within its legitimacy, accountability, and adherence to ethical standards, while fostering trust and facilitating effective partnerships for development. The Local Government also helps in streamlining operations, clarifies legal frameworks, and protects beneficiaries from their rights.
On the background, is Kole District Officials in attendant of one of the function organized by Kole Intellectual Forum with the hope of introducing their programs and activities them and they were also in position to address the audience.
