Training on how to set a workshop: KIFA
Kole Intellectual Forum is not only training students on how theory on the course units of home Economics; but rather among others is to learn how to set up a tailoring workshop at the Institute of Home Economics for a number of several beneficial reasons to students. The program is assumed to equip students with practical skills for self-employment, empower them to create and alter clothing for personal use, and foster an entrepreneurial mindset through understanding the business aspects of tailoring. Additionally, it can enhance creative expression, provide a sense of accomplishment, and contribute to sustainable living by reducing textile waste.
In term of Career Opportunities and Economic Empowerment: setting up a tailoring workshop is also expected to have provided them with a foundation to start their own businesses, offering services like custom tailoring, alterations, or even creating unique clothing lines.
