Promoting scouting: Public Primary Schools in Kole district, Northern part of Uganda
Kole Intellectual Forum has learnt that: for quality education to be attained, several framers of formal education system have adventured into a number of subjects, both in class and the extra curriculum ones.
One key extra curriculum one that Kole Intellectual Forum is promoting is scouting at schools that plays a vital role in the holistic development of students, fostering crucial life skills, character building, and citizenship. This type of extra curriculum training offers a unique platform for learning outside the traditional classroom setting, promoting teamwork, leadership, and a sense of community.
In the real observation by the team of Kole Intellectual Forum, they noted that: Scouting equips young people with practical skills such as first aid, survival skills, and outdoor navigation, which can be invaluable in various situations; while also at the same time,
