Intern Doctor presents and discusses the value and importance of WASH to students of Kole Intellectual Forum.
As the Intern Doctor continues with her training on Home management at Kole Intellectual Forum; she had, on the other hand, touched on the issues related to WASH, which stands for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene, and she told them (students) that: the topic is a very crucial area of focus for their well-being; and further delivered that WASH encompasses access to safe drinking water, proper sanitation facilities (like toilets), and good hygiene practices; hence, investing in WASH is vital for their public health, economic development, and overall community prosperity.
She noted that: health wise, access to clean water and sanitation significantly reduces the spread of waterborne diseases like diarrhea, cholera, and typhoid, which can be particularly devastating for children. Proper hygiene practices, like hand washing is among those practices that can further prevent of the transmission infections.
