Emotionally Intelligent: A course unit of Interest - KIFA
Kole Intellectual Forum (KIFA) has realized that: Social and emotional intelligence is crucial course unit of Home Economics that should be impacted to their students so that it can help them to understand and manage their own emotions, as well as to be able to interact with others effectively within the premises of the Institute and thereafter.
Building these skills has been assumed to have assisted them (KIFA beneficiaries) to form positive relationships, make good decisions within the school and beyond, and lead them to have a successful lives in future.
Particularly, in Model healthy behaviors, learners are trained by observing and mimicking the behavior of those with positive mind around them. By also showing empathy, kindness, and self-control; at the same time by encouraging them to express their emotions and talk about their feelings.
While notably, they also teach them on issues related to problem-solving skills that helps them to develop their ability to think critically and solve problems by learning how to identify problems, generate solutions, and evaluate the pros and cons of each option.
