Community Engagement: Lesson learned by KIFA

Kole Intellectual Forum (KIFA) in the last seven years has learned that: if community is engaged in the meetings about matters that partake them, they can become the root to their local development, simply because they can facilitate informed, sustainable, and inclusive decision-making that can incorporate local knowledge and diverse perspectives which does only help nonprofit organization in planning but also in implementation projects.

For the last seven years that the organization has been in existence, these meetings have built trust the organization and the organization too, has given their accountability to the community. In the same page, community members too are empowered to take ownership of the projects, enhancing their skills, and fostering a stronger social networks and resilience. Ultimately, leading to a more re effective, widely accepted, and long-lasting development outcomes to the community Kole Intellectual Forum is servicing.
