Sanitary pads: A contribution to quality Education
Given that: sanitary pads are materials those are used by ladies to protect their bodies from menstrual fluid; it is also noticed that, in its absent, quite a number of girls have either left school completely or they tend to absent themselves from during that time of period.
Since Kole Intellectual Forum is a research base organization with focus on how to promote quality, sustainable and potential education; the organization has found out that, one of the issues that are leading to performance, drop out and absenteeism in public primary schools and sometimes in Secondary schools, is because of lack of available sanitary pads; or, because of some culture that do not allow people to discuss about sanitary pads in public.
Kole Intellectual Forum is approaching this, by creating awareness of the need for such to the public generally and to the youth both boys and girls specifically; the organization is training young boys and girls on how to make them.
