Understanding the importance of financial literacy
Like any other nonprofit organizations who have revenue from their supporters (donors), there is need for such organizations like Kole Intellectual Forum to endeavor to understand about financial literacy; and because of that, Kole Intellectual Forum is among the other nonprofit organizations in Kole District in Uganda that had to attend the training of financial literacy in this month of April, 2025 organized by Bank of Uganda.
They (the team of Kole intellectual Forum) had to agree on this principle because one of their core value, is to respect the principle of value for money. Hence, the organization (Kole Intellectual Forum) has to treat financial health (literacy) as a cornerstone that can help them to accomplish their set goals, and to enable them to navigate into their financial landscape.
In that training there was detail discussion on financial income, debt, credit and expenses, and also on how the implementers of resources can use their financial resources to realize positive impact and create a difference in the community
