Physical Exercise a tool to students’ health
Having learnt that: Physical exercise can improve on one's both physical and mental health by reducing the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and some cancers, helping to manage weight, and strengthening muscles and bones; as well as boosting mental well-being such as, improving on one’s mood, reducing stress, and enhancing sleep and cognitive function; Kole Intellectual Forum, Institute of Home Economics, has made it to the point, the program becomes part of their extra curriculum course unit.
In doing this, the Institute has realized that: the program has improved on blood circulation of their students, and resulted into their "good" cholesterol levels, helped on achieving and maintaining students’ healthy weight, and also strengthening their muscles, bones, and joints, which will eventually protect them from being attack by osteoporosis and reduce their risk of falling sick.
