Music are used for empowerment at KIFA

At Kole Intellectual Forum, Girl's child empowerment in one way being conducted through music; a one way of using music for self-expression and skill-building, creating awareness and changing harmful norms, and promoting leadership and equal opportunities. This has been done at KIFA’s Institute through workshops for music production and performance, large-scale festivals that combine mentorship with enter Self-expression and skill-building

How it is expressed are through,

Creative outlets: they believe, music and dance provide a way for girls to express themselves creatively, which helps them to build confidence and self-esteem.
Practical skills: at the workshops, they teach the girls to be valuably skillful at music production, lyric writing, and performance, which can lead them to future career opportunities in the audio industry.
Cognitive and physical development: Learning music and movement improves coordination, balance, and cognitive skills, such as pattern recognition and understanding new words.

Awareness and social change

Challenging harmful norms: Music with positive messages can be used to combat harmful social norms and promote gender equality, as artists act as role models to influence popular culture.
Raising awareness: Events like the Brave Girls Festival use a blend of music, mentorship, and advocacy to promote courage, equality, and self-expression among girls.
Public health education: Music can be used as a tool to deliver important messages, such as those related to menstrual hygiene or other health issues, making the information more accessible and engaging
