Purpose of Practical Tests: KIFA students
The purpose of engaging students in a practical tests at the institute of Home Economics of Kole Intellectual Forum, is to ensure students that students are developed at the high level of competency, confidence, and job-market within their chosen careers. These hands-on assessments bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, directly evaluating a learner's ability to perform specific, job-related tasks.
Basically, the approach is meant to be, validating Competence: the primary goal is to determine if students have the skills and knowledge required to perform effectively and safely in the workplace, as specified by industry standards; applying theory to practice: Practical tests require students to use the theoretical knowledge they have learned in actual or simulated scenarios, which reinforces understanding and makes learning more meaningful and memorable than rote memorization; developing job-specific skills: students get hands-on experience using industry-standard equipment, tools, and procedures, which is essential for mastering the technical skills needed for their future roles; and building confidence and adaptability among others: whereby, successfully navigating the challenges presented in practical scenarios builds self-esteem, resilience, and the confidence to perform tasks independently in a professional setting.
