Moving Teachers Closer to Students

With support from the donors on the platform of GlobalGiving: Kole Intellectual Forum, has introduced Teachers moving closer to students program—that is, known as proximity control—or is crucial way for fostering engagement, managing behavior, and building rapport. The program acts as a subtle, non-verbal redirection technique that reduces behavior problems, increases participation, and strengthens teacher-student relationships. Proximity ensures students feel seen, supported, and safe.

Purposely, the approach help in:

Behavior Management: where by, proximity serves as a subtle, non-verbal tool for redirection and encourages student self-regulation.
Increased Engagement: It improves motivation, participation, and enthusiasm, encouraging active learning.
Rapport Building: It demonstrates care and attention, strengthening the teacher-student relationship.
Academic Support: It allows teachers to notice when students need help, leading to better classroom, peer, and teacher interaction.
