To our generous supporters,
Thank you so much for your kindness. Your donations are a beacon of hope for families who have lost everything. We are writing to share an update on our project to provide winter blankets.
The problem is urgent and simple: it is very cold. Thousands of families who fled their homes because of violence now live in crowded camps. They have no warm bedding. At night, they sleep on the bare ground with only thin cloths to cover them. This is especially dangerous for children and the elderly, who are getting sick with colds and pneumonia. The cold season is here now, so they are suffering every night.
Our plan is to give out strong, warm blankets that can be washed and used for a long time. We are ready to work with local volunteers to get these blankets to the most vulnerable families.
Right now cannot buy and deliver the first batch of blankets until we have the full amount. This is why your continued support is so critical right now. Your help today can literally mean the difference between a child shivering through the night and sleeping warmly.
Thank you for believing in this mission and for your compassion. We are grateful to be in this fight with you.
With sincere thanks,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic K.
