Every year ,The Mexican Red Cross executes "The Winter Plan", the purpose is give humanitarian aid boxes, to the population that is most affected by low temperatures during the months of December, January and February. Red Cross gives clothes, blankets, canned food, and basic necessities, to low income population who live in geographical areas of difficult access.
Since 18 years ago, every year Mexican Red Cross activate this program, giving humanitarian aids to the indigenous population with lowest income and people who lives in geographical very high risk areas, or with a very poor infrastructure. The Winter Plan Mexican Red Cross, is providing support to the most vulnerable during the months of November, December, January and February, delivery humanitarian aid, to the 11 most affected countries by the winter and low temperatures
The project will make it possible increase the number of humanitarian aid boxes, benefiting, more than 2,000 families this year with the Global Giving grants
