During 2025, Hands for Charity implemented a winter relief campaign to support vulnerable refugee families living in camps across Lebanon. Harsh winter conditions pose serious risks for displaced communities who often lack adequate shelter, heating, and basic necessities. Through this campaign, winter relief packages containing essential items such as mattresses, blankets, pillows, and heating fuel were distributed to help families stay warm and protected during the cold season.
Thanks to the generosity of donors and supporters, a total of 2,755 individuals were equipped with critical winter materials to help them survive the difficult winter months. To ensure the effectiveness and transparency of the distribution, Hands for Charity also sent a delegation from Canada to Lebanon to assist directly with the distribution process and meet families living in refugee camps. This presence on the ground helped ensure that aid reached those most in need while strengthening connections with the communities being served.
This winter campaign provided immediate relief and dignity to families facing extremely challenging conditions. By delivering essential winter supplies and working directly within the camps, Hands for Charity helped vulnerable families better withstand the cold and offered a sense of hope and solidarity during the harsh winter season.
