Families in Gaza and Syria continue to suffer after years of conflict and displacement. In Gaza, winter storms destroyed over 3,200 tents, exposing women and children to freezing rain and contaminated floodwater. In Syria, thousands of displaced families still live in fragile tents that cannot protect them from winter cold. This project provides winter shelter support, warm clothing, clean water, and medical assistance to help families survive the winter with dignity.
Gaza and Syria are among the most severe humanitarian crises globally. In Gaza, winter floods destroyed shelters and left over 6,500 children without beds or blankets, increasing the spread of illness. In Syria, years of displacement have trapped families in aging, torn tents where parents struggle to keep children warm. Without urgent winter aid, thousands remain at risk of hypothermia, respiratory infections, and preventable disease.
This project delivers urgent winter relief to displaced families in Gaza and Syria through replacement and winterized tents, waterproof tarpaulins, warm bedding, children's winter clothing, heated blankets, hygiene kits, clean drinking water, and emergency medical supplies. Support is delivered through trusted local partners, ensuring rapid, safe, and dignified assistance to families most exposed to extreme winter conditions.
Winter support does more than protect lives in the moment-it restores dignity and stability. A warm shelter reduces illness, clean water prevents disease, and winter aid helps families avoid long-term health complications. By strengthening local response capacity in Gaza and Syria, this project supports resilience and gives displaced children and families a safer foundation for recovery and hope beyond the winter months.
