This campaign aims to provide Urgent Winter aid for the displaced needy families in Gaza. Imagine a day where everything familiar turns to memories. For many in Palestine, this is not just a thought, but a harsh reality. Homes once filled with laughter, stand in ruins. Loved ones, once the heart of our stories, now a part of our prayers. As the cold winter encroaches, those who have lost so much have to face yet another challenge - the biting cold of winter without a home... without warmth.
Families in Gaza and Syria are facing a lethal winter without protection. In Gaza more than 1.9 million displaced, many living in makeshift shelters utterly inadequate against cold, rain, and wind. Concurrently, Syria, now in the early stages of rebuilding after recent conflict, has millions of internally displaced persons and returnees finding their homes destroyed and infrastructure decimated. For children in both regions, the winter cold is a direct threat to survival.
This project will provide immediate, life-saving winterization aid to shield children from the cold. We will achieve this by distributing winter clothing kits (including thermal wear, coats, socks, and hats) to children in high-need areas of Gaza and in returning communities across Syria. Providing heavy blankets and insulated bedding to families living in damaged homes and shelters. Supplying fuel vouchers to vulnerable households, allowing them to safely heat their living spaces
By meeting this urgent need, we protect children's health, allowing them to survive the winter and continue their education and recovery. In Syria, keeping children warm and healthy is a foundational step that enables families to participate in rebuilding their lives and communities. In Gaza, it provides a critical buffer against a cascading health crisis. This project directly supports the well-being of over 5,000 children, giving them the basic security needed to heal and envision a future.
