Hello wonderful Wollangarra supporters and Happy New Year!
2018 is off to a busy start for Wollangarra, with the new staff settling in and beginning their training (they look like an awesome bunch), and the staff team of 2017 passing on all they have learnt along the way to help this change-over process. A huge thanks to the 2017 crew who put in their absolute all, and best of luck to them for settling in to post Wollangarra life.
December saw a number of great courses; mainly holiday stage 2 and 3 courses for young people who can't get enough of Woll and the mountain/ pioneering life.
Wollangarra has lots of courses booked in for 2018 - including a few groups from schools who haven't been to Woll before - forging new relationships with schools is always exciting! It will be an action packed year so if you can spare some time to go and volunteer on a program, the staff would love to have you!
Next weekend (27th and 28th) is the annual Fruit Bottling weekend so if you can, head up and say hello to the new staff and Clare and Jay and Elliot (the directing family), and get your hands dirty with lots of fruit cutting and preserve making.
Wollangarra is continuing to have a positive impact on so many young lives, interrupting the fast pace of modern life and giving kids time to think, relax and live the simple life. If you are able to donate, please do. All donations are tax deductable, and it makes such a difference if we are continuously supported by people who believe in what we do!
