Women Empowerment

We are thrilled to present an update on our Women Empowerment project in Santiago del Estero, Argentina, as we reflect on the achievements of 2023 and look ahead to an even more ambitious 2024!

Achievements of 2023:

Last year marked a significant milestone for our project, as we successfully conducted over 55 productive workshops, reaching nearly 75 women entrepreneurs across Santiago del Estero. This accomplishment not only underscores our commitment to empowering women but also highlights the incredible talent and dedication of these entrepreneurs.

Looking Ahead to 2024:

As we turn our sights to 2024, we are excited to announce that activities are scheduled to start in April, with plans to increase our workshop offerings to 60. This expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to support and nurture the entrepreneurial spirit of women in the region.

In collaboration with the Asociación Civil Mujeres 2000, we are set to continue our partnership, working together to showcase and sell the products created by these remarkable entrepreneurs at fairs and other sales outlets. This alliance plays a crucial role in providing a platform for their crafts, opening up new opportunities for economic independence and recognition.

Featured Workshops:

Among the workshops slated for this year, we will continue to offer the beloved Amigurumi workshop, led by a local instructor who brings passion and expertise to the craft of crocheted stuffed toys. Additionally, we will be conducting the Project-Based Workshop, an intensive program designed to train participants in various productive techniques. These workshops are integral to our mission, equipping women with the skills and confidence needed to thrive as entrepreneurs.

Expanding Our Reach:

Our vision for 2024 extends beyond continuing our existing programs; we aim to embrace 50 new women into our project! This ambitious goal will bring our total impact to supporting over 100 local entrepreneurs, each with their own unique story and potential for growth.
