We’re happy to share exciting updates from our Women Empowerment project in Villa Ojo de Agua, where 2025 is shaping up to be a beautiful year of connection, creativity, and continued growth... thanks to you!
This year, a new group of 15 women joined the program, alongside 20 returning participants who had already begun their training journey in 2024. In addition, a third group of 10 women, who attended workshops in previous years, continues to meet regularly at the Fundación’s headquarters; not for classes, but simply to weave, share, and keep creating together. Their presence speaks volumes about the sense of belonging and community this project inspires.
We’ve already delivered 32 hands-on, skills-building workshops so far this year, with more on the way! And we’re thrilled to announce that we’re coordinating with Asociación Civil Mujeres 2000 to bring their entrepreneurship training back to Ojo de Agua in September, an opportunity that past participants have loved and found deeply enriching.
Another exciting milestone: we’ve officially launched our first fundraising product line! The women have created two original amigurumis, adorably handcrafted soft toys named "Migus", inspired by native Argentine animals: the llama and the capybara. We’re proud to share that the first 50 units have already sold, and all proceeds are going directly back into the project to support its sustainability.
None of this would be possible without your support. Every workshop, every stitch, every sale, every shared laugh between participants, it all starts with you.
Thank you for walking this path with us. Together, we’re not just supporting women; we’re building a thriving, resilient community of creators, learners, and entrepreneurs.
