The political instability in the north west and south west regions of Cameroon has had a very heavy drop-down effect on families and households, women being a part of every family have felt the blow more, because, they have lost their husbands and breadwinners of their families, most especially the have lost their sources of income, reason being most rural areas in these affected areas have witnessed a mass exodus of its inhabitants to the nearby urban area of Bamenda.
this micro income project helps these women start up petty- businesses like pastries, raw foodstuffs ,call box operators ,selling of fruits etc with each beneficiary receiving 50,000cfa as capital.this would help these women cater and provide basic necessities for their families and also support their children in education
