In 2019, 33 students graduated from our University Leadership program, our largest graduating class to date! Graduation is both a huge milestone, and only the beginning for these bright, young leaders. 70% of our 2019 graduates have already found paying jobs, this is much higher than the national average in Rwanda. Our graduates credit the monthly leadership workshops for giving them the soft skills they need to find employment after graduation. We wanted to share one of those success stories with you!
Joselyne got a paid internship! She is working with an NGO called Health Development Initiative, a center for health and rights. Joselyne works in the Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights and Research department, which educates the community about Sexual Reproductive Health. We know she will have an incredible impact in the community through this new role!
Thank you for supporting the brilliant women in our program. Your generosity provides tuition and training, bring our students one step closer to achieving their dreams. Please continue to support our work and the 34 women currently participating in our program!
