"A child strapped to the back of the mother does not know the journey is far." There are many starving single mothers in Liberia who lack the resources to take care of their children. Girl Power Africa will provide these women with the tools necessary to start and maintain their own businesses. Through our program, we provide women with a range of materials and support, including skill-building, mentorship, and accountability for their progress. A $100 donation changes their world.
Our program supports women from various backgrounds, including young single mothers and older women raising orphaned grandchildren or relatives, who have faced abuse and hardship. We operate as a grassroots campaign in Liberia, West Africa, and our work is ongoing. Women travel miles to attend our Women Empowerment Program, placing their trust in us to listen to their stories and provide a helping hand.
