I Introduction
The funds mobilized as part of this project and the balance at the end of June made it possible
to carry out an activity which is currently being finalized.
II Activities carried out
TN has made various purchases which are linked to the construction of a workshop.
The purchases made are as follows:
ü Purchases of 8 sheets;
ü Purchase 3 sand trips;
ü Purchase of 5 bags of cement;
ü Purchase of cement bricks;
ü Purchase 3 packs of points;
ü Purchase of a roll of iron fastener;
ü Purchase of a motorcycle taxi trip;
All of his purchases made it possible to build a workshop.
II. 2 Resource mobilization
TN received from GlobalGiving for its project 19031, on the Christmas and health project during this period.
III Difficulties encountered
During this period, TN experienced the following difficulties:
ü The project manager was sick as were other members and members’ children;
ü A member lost his twelve-year-old daughter who suffered from a tumor;
ü TN was unable to finalize the workshop;
ü TN was not able to participate in SIAO 2024 because the members were not able to create works;
ü The majority of members still fear the insecurity of the country;
ü Some members are resilient in the face of the situation in the country.
IV Results achieved
ü Money from GlobalGiving helped build a workshop
ü Eight members were paid for the catering service.
V Perspective
ü Finalize the workshop (door, window, etc.)
ü Mobilize funds for the construction of other workshops;
ü Installation of solar panels, batteries and purchase of 2 freezers for the sale of food ice (which will be financed by Lafi Burkina)
ü An ongoing project to open a large community restaurant
ü A project with Lafi Burkina is underway for the purchases of solar panels, batteries and their installations. Purchase of two freezers for the production and sale of edible ice.
ü Recruit a Permanent Secretary to increase staff to support the coordinator in TN activities
ü Open a functional coffee shop kiosk six days a week at TN headquarters;
ü Continue to receive financial assistance from GlobalGiving to carry out the construction of workshops, a large training room and a large hangar in the courtyard;
ü Organize an open day every quarter to raise awareness of Tigoung Nonma and sell its products.
