Dear champions!
Meet Vitoria, a remarkable girl and a former Young Ecoleader, who is spreading awareness about Iracambi and our cause, when it comes to education and preserving the Atlantic Rainforest, and who is engaging with the youth to promote environmental sustainability.
Vitoria's passion for nature and her commitment to making a positive impact on the environment has led her on an inspiring journey. As a former Young Ecoleader, she has gained valuable knowledge and insights about the importance of conservation and the urgent need to protect the biodiversity of the Atlantic Rainforest, which plays a vital role in maintaining ecological balance and providing a habitat for countless species of plants and animals.
Armed with this knowledge, Vitoria has embarked on a mission to share her experiences and raise awareness about the work done by Iracambi on two different occasions!
First of all, she participated in a youth encounter in São Paulo, where she had the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and exchange ideas to further the cause of environmental protection.
She was also at the 'Exchange of Knowledge' fair in Viçosa, an exposition of different initiatives held at University of Viçosa (UFV), that aims the promotion of scientific dissemination, stimulating the exchange of ideas, and encouraging the development of new knowledge and solutions to relevant issues in various fields of knowledge, bringing the university closer to society as it allows the public to get a closer look at the work carried out within the institution and how it can contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the development of the region and the country as a whole!
With Vitoria's dedication, determination, and her inspiring commitment to the environment, she serves as a model for the youth and everyone around her. Through her endeavors, she is contributing significantly to the vital work of Iracambi and fostering a deeper understanding of the importance of protecting our planet's precious ecosystems.
We're so proud of her and the work she is doing!
And thanks to you, this work can carry on and we can help a generation of young people to take part in the job of thinking about and building a sustainable future for our planet. By inspiring and empowering young minds, we can encourage them to become advocates for the environment and take active roles in environmental conservation. So, once again, thank you!
With warm rainforest hugs,
The Iracambi team
