As we approach the culmination of another successful year, we're delighted to inform you that our efforts in the schools near Iracambi have been making a significant impact, and that's because of you! Our mission to educate and inspire the next generation of environmental leaders is underway, and your generous contributions have played a crucial role in making this possible.
In recent months, we have been actively engaged with the students, focusing on two aspects of our work: reforestation and the potential environmental consequences of the climate change and of a mining company entering our region. These discussions have been instrumental in raising awareness among the youth about the delicate balance between human activity and our natural surroundings.
Our visits to the schools have provided us with invaluable insights into the students' perspective on reforestation and the profound effects of deforestation. We have been able to share with them the importance of restoring our environment and how it directly relates to mitigating climate change. The children have shown remarkable enthusiasm in learning about the destruction of our land and the steps we are taking to heal it, ensuring a safer and more sustainable future for them.
