We would like to share some wonderful news with you!
This July, we had the honor of graduating another class from our "Young Ecoleaders" project, dedicated to caring for and protecting our Atlantic Forest! The graduation party of the class of 2024 took place in Iracambi. All the students are from Rosário da Limeira - a city near by our farm - and attend public schools. The most valuable thing they had in 6 months was the opportunity to learn in depth about one of Brazil's most important biomes with classes inside the forest!
"Graduation day is always exciting! Awarding the diploma is more than just the title of 'Young Ecoleader,' but an entire journey of learning, building, and contributing to environmental education in the territory!" said Dayana Duarte, Iracambi environmental education coordinator. "The 2024 ecoleaders were brilliant students! Very engaged, intelligent and true defenders of the territory," Dayana added.
