When Ahlam was 19, the war had already stolen half her life. Her father’s shop was destroyed, her family’s income vanished, and she left school to help care for her younger siblings. Like many in her generation, her dreams seemed buried under the weight of survival.
Then she joined our youth empowerment program.
For the first time, Ahlam learned digital skills—how to design, market, and sell online. With our training and a small start-up grant, she opened a modest graphic design service from her home. Within months, she was earning enough to send her sisters back to school and help her mother repair their home.
Today, Ahlam isn’t just supporting her family—she’s training three other young women in her neighborhood, passing on the skills that changed her life.
Her words say it best:
“Before, I felt invisible. Now I know I am part of rebuilding Yemen.”
Ahlam’s journey is one of hundreds made possible by your generosity. You are giving young people not just a livelihood, but the courage to dream again.
Because of you, Yemen’s future is not lost—it is rising, one young leader at a time.
All Love and Appriciation for you
