We are pleased to share that the Youth Sports Program for 500 Teens in Kano is making meaningful progress, with implementation planning now underway and financial management systems already established to ensure transparent use of funds. To date, initial resources have been directed toward program coordination, community consultations, venue assessments, and the development of a detailed operating budget covering equipment, coaching support, tournament logistics, mentorship workshops, and monitoring activities. Priority spending has been carefully structured to maximize direct impact on participants while minimizing administrative costs. Procurement plans for sports kits, training materials, and safety supplies have also been prepared to secure quality items at competitive rates. In addition, partnerships with local coaches, volunteers, and community leaders are helping reduce overhead expenses and increase value for every dollar invested. As additional funding is received, the next phase will focus on full program rollout, including weekly training sessions, mentor engagement, and the launch of the first community tournament. Overall, the project remains financially disciplined, cost-effective, and strongly positioned to deliver lasting benefits for 500 teens across Kano communities.
