Adjah Cancer Support Ghana is empowering Ghanaian youth to become leaders in cancer awareness and community health education. This project trains young volunteers to deliver school and community outreach, organize awareness campaigns, and mentor peers. Your support helps cultivate a generation of youth committed to improving health outcomes across the Volta Region and Ghana.
Many communities in Ghana lack sufficient cancer awareness, and youth often do not have opportunities to lead health education initiatives. Without proper training and support, young volunteers cannot effectively organize outreach activities or reach their peers and communities with vital cancer awareness messages.
This project will train and mentor young volunteers in leadership, communication, and cancer awareness skills. Equipped with knowledge, materials, and guidance, they will organize and lead outreach campaigns in schools and communities, ensuring that critical health messages reach more people while developing the volunteers' confidence and leadership abilities.
By empowering youth volunteers to lead cancer awareness initiatives, this project will create a sustainable network of young community leaders. Over time, it will increase cancer awareness, promote early detection, improve health outcomes, and inspire more youth to engage in meaningful community health work across the Volta Region and Ghana.
