We are excited to share the progress of our Soccer for Health & Inclusion Initiative, which continues to grow and make a meaningful impact on children in Togo and Omaha, NE. Your generous support has enabled us to expand our reach, enhance our programs, and provide more children with access to the benefits of sports. Here’s what we’ve accomplished over the past three months:
Program Expansion
We have expanded our program to three additional schools in Togo, bringing our total to 24 schools across Togo and the United States.
In the U.S., our program now actively serves children in Omaha, NE, and its neighboring cities, including Bellevue, Gretna, Ralston, Papillion, Elkhorn, and Council Bluffs.
Initiatives in Togo
We are currently working on providing soccer balls and jerseys for all 24 participating schools.
Preparations are underway for inter-school soccer games in July, which will help foster teamwork, confidence, and healthy competition among students.
Initiatives in the U.S.
We are organizing a soccer camp for 200 children aged 4-13 this summer (May-June), This soccer camp offers inclusive experience that promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being, teaching children the importance of teamwork, leadership, and resilience.
To ensure strong participation, we:
Placed 100 soccer registration sign-up yard signs across Omaha and neighboring cities.
Reconfigured our website for a seamless event sign-up process.
Ordered essential soccer materials, including soccer balls, cones, and field reservations.
Mobilized volunteers to support the event and create a welcoming atmosphere for all children.
Looking Ahead
As we continue to expand and enhance our programs, we are deeply grateful for your support. Your contributions help us provide access to sports, promote healthy lifestyles, and foster social inclusion for children in underserved communities.
We invite you to stay engaged. follow and share our progress as we prepare for upcoming soccer events. Thank you for being a vital part of this journey!
