We are still busy fundraising online and with individual donors on the ground to be able to complete the new classroom at Zambezi Sawmills. In the meantime we have been busy with 2 overseas school teams....
This year Zambezi Sawmills was privileged to have two Tag Rugby groups working during their tour namely Mill Hill School and Conisborough groups respectively. The students have been busy coaching tag rugby in the local seven schools in Livingstone in the mornings and in the afternoon after all the trainings they were busy with community work at Zambezi Sawmills Community School. While there they worked on extending the shelter, building a bore house and doing some gardening. Once the shelter is finished, it will act as a temporal class room. This shelter is also used for reading clubs and teacher one on one learning system with those students that are slow learners.
