Spanish Federation of Food Banks (FESBAL) is a nonprofit organizations based on voluntary and aims to recover surplus food in our society and redistribution to the needy, avoiding any waste or misuse. The food banks do not deliver food to the needy but to charities and social assistance have recognized officials in close contact with the collective need. They are officially recognized organizations. In the case of Spain, fifty four Food Banks are integrated into the Spanish Federation of Food Banks.
